Q: Do we make games?
A: Yes!

Q: Do you need experience to join the group?
A: No. You just need desire and a motivation to learn.

Q: Do we do tutorials?
A: Yes! We have many tutorial sessions so our members can learn new skills.

Q: How do I join Spartasoft?
A: It's easy, simply come to a weekly meeting (next meeting time is always posted on the front page of our website) or send an email to spartaso@spartasoft.msu.edu

Q: Isn't Spartasoft just a bunch of computer science majors?
A: No. We need everyone from English majors to write the story lines to artists for the animation and concept art. There is a lot more to a game than just the code. Someone has to come up with the ideas and help solve problems.

Q: When are we going to start building games?
A: We already have! There are actually quite a few projects that our members are currently working on. You can read all about them in the "in production" section of our website. If you've got a great idea for a game, ask to talk about it at the next meeting, and rally together some members to work the project with you.

Q: Can you actually make a living in the game industry?
A: Yes, the gaming industry is a large and fast growing sector, currently generating over 10 billion dollars a year. If you've got the right skills, and know the right people, you can do very well in the video game industry.
